Your first visit focuses on getting a comprehensive view of your dental health and history, defining your personal goals for your teeth and putting together a dental plan that assists Dr. Largeman and his team in meeting those goals and more. Because your first visit sets the foundation for your care and covers so much, we schedule plenty of time just for you.

At your first visit you can expect a very thorough and comprehensive exam. Dr Largeman will perform a cancer screening exam, a gum assessment, a head and neck exam, and a thorough medical and dental examination. He
will check for gum disease, tooth decay, and for any soft and hard tissue issues in the jaws. X-rays will be taken to assist in your evaluation.

After completing the exam, viewing x-rays, and discussing your goals,
Dr. Largeman will talk with you one-on-one and will make recommendations for preventive care and any restorative or cosmetic treatments he believes would benefit you. Together, you and Dr. Largeman will develop a comprehensive dental plan that's right for you that also includes all fees and insurance coverage prior to the start of your treatment.

All new patients will be asked to complete a New Patient Information / Health History form prior to being seen by the doctor. For your convenience, you may print a copy of the form from the website and complete it at home prior to your appointment time. Simply bring the completed form with you when you come in for your visit.
